Park on level ground and disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Jack up the front and support it on stands, then remove the inner guard (fender) liner on the driver's side.
Remove the four screws holding the first plastic cover. Then remove the other four bolts and the plastic clips holding the second plastic cover.

Remove the two headlight housings, then undo the 13 bolts holding the fender and lift it off.

The original plastic intake sits behind the fender. It comes out by undoing one nut.

Put the fender back on with just a few of its bolts.
Mask the fender, A-pillar and bonnet edge around the snorkel area to protect the paint while you mark and cut.

Check the label in the corner shows your vehicle and snorkel size (e.g. INEOS G/QM 4.5" DS) before you go any further.
Trim along the two edge of guard lines. Then cut out the hole along the solid black line, but leave the strip between the dashed lines. It holds the template together.

Line up the top trimmed edge with the gap between the bonnet and fender, and the side edge with the line of the door and fender.
Hold it in place with magnets while you line it up (we recommend them). No magnets? Masking tape works too. Keep it flat and don't stretch it.

Trace around the inside of the hole with a fine marker. Remove the template and join up the line across the gap left by the strip.

Drill a few holes just inside the marked line. They give the saw blade somewhere to start.

Cut along the marked line with an air saw.
Clean away all metal filings. Paint the bare edge with touch-up paint, or spray it with lanolin if you don't have paint.

Press the pinch weld all the way around the cut edge.

Bolt the bracket to the A-pillar in the space above the fender, using the M6 bolts.

Refit the fender with all 13 bolts, then refit the headlight housings and the light panel.

Remove the fender again so you can make the intake connections.

Fit the intake side cover with its smaller end facing the rear of the vehicle.
Squeeze the end of the intake adapter that stays inside the engine bay and slide it through the side cover.

Fit the TPU coupler to the intake adapter with a little Loctite, then fit its clamp and tighten it.

Sit the snorkel in place and bolt it to the bracket with the M5 bolts.

Fit your airbox. Bought a CannaFab airbox? Install it now using its own guide.

Apply Loctite to the joints between the silicone couplers and hoses, fit the clamps and tighten them.
Refit the inner guard liner, peel off the masking tape, lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery. Start the engine and check there are no warning lights.
