Before you start
In the box
- 304 stainless snorkel body
- A-pillar bracket and stainless fasteners
- Pinch-weld edge trim
- Cutting & drilling template, labelled for your vehicle and snorkel size
- Plumbing kit: silicone joiners, clamps and inner-guard fittings
Tools you'll need
- 9 mm drill bit
- M6 rivnut tool
- Air saw (or body saw), for the guard and for opening up the inner guard hole
- 3 mm and 4 mm Allen keys
- Magnets or masking tape to hold the template
Short on tools? The Snorkel Install Tool Kit has the Allen keys, rivnut tool and 9 mm bit in one box.
Time & difficulty
Most snorkels take 1.5 to 4 hours in the driveway; twin kits add about 1.5 hours. Confident DIY: you'll cut the guard and drill the A-pillar, but the template does the measuring for you. Each guide shows the install time for your vehicle up front.
How the install works
- Open your vehicle's guide below. Every guide has the kit checklist, tools, template legend and step-by-step photos for that model, with tick-boxes that save your progress on your phone. There's a printable PDF too.
- Check the kit and the template label first. The label must show your vehicle and snorkel size. Anything missing or not matching? Contact us before you cut.
- Follow the steps in order. Lining up the template is the one critical step: take your time there and the rest is straightforward. Stuck? Call 0478 594 451.
