How much does it cost to have a snorkel or airbox fitted?

Fitting at our Keilor workshop is $650 for a vehicle with a standard engine bay. Modified engine bays may incur additional charges, so contact us beforehand to confirm. Recommended installers set their own pricing, so ask them for a quote when you book.

Do I have to use a recommended installer?

To be covered, yes. Under our Installation Policy, warranty and liability coverage apply only when the product is installed by an authorised Canna Fabrication installer, either our Keilor workshop or one of the workshops listed on this page. If you fit it yourself or use another workshop, Canna Fabrication is not liable for damage to the product, vehicle or surrounding components caused by incorrect installation, modification or misuse.

What happens if it was installed incorrectly by someone else?

If Canna Fabrication needs to correct or re-install a product because it was fitted incorrectly by another party, a labour charge of $120 per hour (including GST) applies. Getting it fitted by a recommended installer in the first place avoids this.

How long does a fitting take?

Every product page shows a typical install time. A snorkel is generally a 4 to 6 hour job and an airbox is quicker, so most installers can do a snorkel and airbox together in a day. Ask your installer for their turnaround when you book.

Should I buy the kit first or book the installer first?

Order the kit first. If you're having it fitted at our Keilor workshop, add the Fitting Service to your cart before checkout. For a recommended installer, order the kit and then book with them; they'll tell you whether to bring it in or ship it straight to their workshop. Kits are made to order, so check the current lead time on the product page before you lock in a date.

What arrives in the box, and what do I hand my installer?

Everything needed to fit the kit ships together, so your installer only supplies tools and labour. Hand them the whole box plus the link to the online guide.

  • Snorkel kits: snorkel, silicone bends, hose clamps, bolts, pinchweld, mounting bracket and install template.
  • Airbox kits: airbox, pod filters, silicone joiners and hose clamps.
  • Instructions: step-by-step fitting instructions for every kit are at install.cannafab.com.au.
